This page explains what Culif products are, what they aren't, and what customers can reasonably expect. Please read it alongside our Return Policy, Shipping Guidelines, and Terms of Service.

What Culif Products Are

Culif shower filters are consumer bathroom accessories designed to reduce chlorine and limescale build-up in shower water. Our filters work by passing shower water through a replaceable multi-stage cartridge before it reaches your showerhead.

What Culif Products Are Not

Culif products are not:

  • Medical devices
  • Dermatological or cosmetic treatments
  • Certified drinking water filters (our filters are designed for shower use, not for filtering water you intend to drink)
  • Water softeners (our filters reduce limescale build-up on the showerhead but do not chemically soften water)
  • A replacement for professional water treatment systems

Individual Results May Vary

How each person experiences filtered shower water depends on many factors we can't control, including:

  • The chlorine and mineral content of your local water supply
  • Your existing hair type, skin type, and personal care routine
  • The age and condition of your existing plumbing
  • Water pressure at your property
  • How frequently the cartridge is replaced

Because of these variables, individual experiences differ. We can honestly describe what the filter does mechanically — reduce chlorine and limescale — but we can't promise specific outcomes for your skin, hair, or overall shower experience.

Health and Medical Conditions

Culif products are not designed to treat, prevent, or manage any medical condition, including skin conditions, hair conditions, or allergies. If you have a specific health concern related to your shower water — including sensitivities, eczema, dermatitis, or any other condition — please consult a qualified medical professional before making purchase decisions.

Product Claims and Substantiation

Where we describe what Culif filters do, we aim to describe the mechanical action of the filter (reducing chlorine, reducing limescale build-up). We do not claim clinical efficacy for cosmetic, dermatological, or medical outcomes, as our products have not undergone clinical or dermatological testing for those purposes.

Installation and Compatibility

Culif filters are designed to fit standard 1/2-inch shower thread fittings. Compatibility with your specific shower setup is your responsibility to verify before installation. If your fitting is non-standard, you may need a separate adapter (available at most hardware stores). Contact us at support@culif.com before ordering if you're unsure.

Cartridge Replacement

Filter cartridges are consumables and lose effectiveness over time. We recommend replacement every 3–6 months depending on your water usage and quality. Reduced filter performance after this period is normal wear, not a product defect. Replacement cartridges are sold separately.

Our website may reference general information about water quality, hard water, or shower experience.
